About ChildImmigration

Welcome to the LIRS "Children in Immigration Proceedings" list serve.
The purpose of this
list service is to provide immigration advocates with a forum to openly
share information and seek advice on children's immigration cases. No
government employees are allowed membership for this reason. In order
to ensure the confidentiality and integrity of the list serve, we ask
you to observe the following guidelines:
1) Please do not copy, forward or excerpt information from this
list serve that is not already explicitly identified in the public
domain.
2) If you are interested in collecting case examples for
advocacy purposes, they should not be used without the express
permission of the person who posted the information.
3) Please post only questions or information related to
children in immigration proceedings, either detained or non-detained.
4) Possible uses include:
* Sharing of articles or reports for back ground
1 Sharing of new policies, BIA or court
decisions, etc
2 Request for attorney referrals or
related support services
3 To seek advice on how to best present a
child's asylum claim
4 To consult on general immigration
strategy
5 To share information on how a particular
Immigration Judge or DHS office handles certain types of cases
5) Members should not post confidential client information
on the listserve.

Using ChildImmigration
|

To post a message to all the list members, send email to
childimmigration@lists.lirs.org.
You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing
subscription, in the sections below.

Subscribing to ChildImmigration
|
|
Subscribe to ChildImmigration by filling out the following
form.
You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to
prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. Once
confirmation is received, your request will be held for approval
by the list moderator. You will be notified of the moderator's
decision by email. This is also a hidden list, which means that the
list of members is available only to the list administrator.
